Father & Son —“Family, Beats, and Business”
“New Dallas” Producer ZiggyMadeIt & Father Low Deezie Interview With Boss Talk 101
Dallas, TX – Rising Dallas producer ZiggyMadeIt and manager Low Deezie sat down for an eye-opening interview with E Ceo & Co-Host Mz Jamaica reflecting on the evolution in the music game, behind the scenes, and what it means to do business as father & son. In the midst of growing collaborations and a rising profile — including the New Dallas movement — Ziggy keeps it real about how far he’s come and where he’s headed.
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Moves
The interview opened with a powerful reflection on how much their relationship has grown since the beginning of the movement. With a musical background of manager Low Deezie, it gives Ziggy a major learning curve ahead of the rest. Low Deezie’s name rings bells in the industry from having songs with 8-Ball & MJG and even managing a black rock band. From making a name for himself on the Dallas underground scene to managing rapper Yella Beezy, Low Deezie has most definitely laid the blueprint for his son. Growing up in the music game since the age of 3 gave Ziggy the resilience to grind and excel, which is what Low Deezie exemplifies. “The old Ziggy when he first started ain’t the new Ziggy embraced by the city” says Low Deezie. With hard-work, consistency and authenticity, the pair has earned recognition in a game where many fall off. Collaborations with notable names like Big X Tha Plug & Zillionaire Doe has phone lines ringing non-stop — but access isn’t what it used to be.
Business First: No Free Beats, No Loose Ends
Host E-Ceo shifted interview with questions about the importance of treating music as a business. Ziggy spoke candidly about the professional standards he was taught to uphold — from publishing splits to split sheets to clear paperwork before songs even drop. He also encouraged younger producers to stay prepared, stay registered, and protect their work. The message was clear: loyalty is good, but structure is essential. With learning fragments experienced by his father makes the New Dallas Movement a well oiled machine.

“Ziggy don’t got no free beats for nobody, man.” - Low Deezie
Longevity in Sound: Old Beats Still Hit
One of the most inspiring parts of the interview came when Ziggy told the story of a beat he made in a college dorm back in 2022 — one that sat for years before becoming a hit. (See Montana 700 - Pipeline / Produced by ZiggyMadeIt) For any creator holding onto old work, this advice hits home. Hidden fact about Low Deezie that some may not know is that he once released a project called “Barry Green”, where all the songs were samples of Al Green or Barry White. Fast forwarding to present day we now have producer Ziggy sampling old hits from Cash Money to Young Jeezy.
Family and Leagacy
Ziggy got personal when asked about his father and how that relationship shaped him. While he acknowledged they haven’t always seen eye to eye, but the respect is there — and so is the influence. “Sometimes I don’t do what he say right away, but I hear him” says Ziggy. In the month of June the music industry lost a legend in Cavin Yarbrough from r&b duo Yarbrough & Peoples. What some may not know is that legend Yarbrough was a mentor and some what of a father figure for Low Deezie in the music game. With music creditability from young and old between both music figures, the pair looks to be an unstoppable force for years to come.
