At only 10 years old, King Moore is already moving like an entertainment veteran. The Tampa, Florida, native is a singer, rapper and actor who gained national attention as a breakout contestant on Season 20 of America’s Got Talent. His growing résumé includes music releases such as “Big Dreams,” “Pen Game” and “Ayesha,” along with appearances in film, voice acting and national campaigns for brands including AT&T and Toyota.

King recently stopped by Boss Talk 101 alongside radio personality P-Skillz and DJ Don Perryon for an interview filled with humor, confidence, encouragement and a live display of his talent.

The conversation began with King and Mz. Jamaica having a playful debate over Dominican and Jamaican food. With his mother being from the Dominican Republic, King confidently declared that she makes the best oxtails. That lighthearted exchange immediately showed the personality, quick wit and natural charisma that have helped make him a rising young entertainer.

King also discussed growing up between Florida, Texas and California, his experience competing on America’s Got Talent and the nervousness he felt before stepping onto such a major stage. Despite appearing fearless, he admitted that performing has not always come without anxiety. One experience with the “heebie-jeebies” after eating before a show even led him to begin fasting ahead of performances.

E CEO made sure King understood just how special his confidence and ability are. Throughout the interview, King answered challenging questions with a level of articulation and self-awareness rarely seen from someone his age.

DJ Don Perryon explained how he discovered King’s talent before introducing him to P-Skillz, giving viewers insight into the team helping guide his journey. King also previewed his upcoming 11th birthday celebration and shared his desire to pursue more acting roles, including action-comedy films when he gets older.

From questioning Terry Crews about his height during a viral America’s Got Talent moment to singing live on Boss Talk 101, King continued to prove that he is comfortable thinking—and performing—on his feet. He also spoke about scuba diving with his father, his love for foods such as filet mignon and lobster, and the importance of practice and discipline.

Drawing inspiration from legendary performers such as Michael Jackson and Ciara, King encouraged young people to dedicate time to difficult goals and push through challenges while still making room for the things they enjoy.

King Moore may be young, but his work ethic, personality and vision suggest that he understands exactly where he wants to go. This Boss Talk 101 interview introduces viewers to more than a viral young performer—it reveals a future star with real talent, strong family support and dreams big enough to match his name.
