Major Trappin’ For Major Signing
Carolina Stand Up — Trap Dickey Secures TDE Deal After Bosstalk 101 Appearance
The Southern wave continues to show its strength as rising Carolina artist Trap Dickey takes a major leap forward, officially securing a deal with Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) as of March 2026. Known for his gritty delivery, authentic storytelling, and that undeniable “down south” feel, Trap Dickey has been building momentum the right way—through real experiences, consistent drops, and staying tapped in with the culture.
Hailing from Hartsville, South Carolina, Trap Dickey represents more than just a city—he represents a region that’s been quietly producing heavy hitters for years. His breakout record “Blue Devils” featuring DaBaby in 2023 put him on the radar, while collaborations with names like Boosie Badazz and BigXthaPlug continued to solidify his presence across the Southern circuit. Whether it’s street anthems or pain-driven records, his sound carries that raw truth that the people can feel.
But what makes this moment even more official for the culture is the timing. Before the headlines, before the signing announcement, Trap Dickey pulled up to the Bosstalk 101 Podcast and chopped it up with the team—giving listeners a firsthand look into his mindset, his grind, and the road he was paving. It’s one of those moments that hit different now, knowing that everything he spoke on is already unfolding in real time.
As the Carolinas continue to make noise, Trap Dickey now stands in strong company alongside artists like Petey Pablo and DaBaby—adding another name to the list of major signings coming out of the region. It’s a full-circle moment that speaks to growth, opportunity, and the power of staying consistent when nobody’s watching.
