Longview, TX July 12th 2025– Five years in, and FAST Bash has officially stamped itself as one of East Texas’ most talked-about events. What started as a platform for independent artists has grown into a full-on cultural meet-up, blending music, media, and community under one roof. At the center of it is Moma Scott—someone who’s been quietly, (and not-so-quietly) curating the culture in East Texas for years.

@TrillTalkNoPillTalk who was one of the judges for the event says that this year’s installment was the biggest and best so far. Held at The Reserve Event Center, the 5th Annual FAST Bash brought out a mix of local talent, familiar faces, and media powerhouses.

With over 20 contestants starting out, it ended up with these top three contestants found on IG at:

@mmchucky1998
@big_muvaaaa
@jadensogroovy

Each artist brought something different, but Jaden Sogroovy came with something to prove and walked away with the $2,500 top prize.

The panel wasn’t thrown together—it was curated. With a mix of media, music insiders, and tastemakers, FAST Bash kept the bar high:

@Rap101Economics
@TrillTalkNoPillTalk
@poisonivi4x (the daughter of Boosie Badazz) also performed.
@BiorTruth
@tee2dahbee
@famousanimaltv
@djkmusic had the crowd singing word for word!

It wasn’t just artists performing and judges watching. Carl Crawford of 1501 Certified Entertainment was in the building, and his presence confirmed what the streets have been saying: FAST Bash is the one to watch. The building was full of other key players and platforms:

@reallyfestreetstarz
@luhceo_
@Ninalaretta
@K104fm
@979thebeat
@theblazefm

FAST Bash has always been more than an event. It’s a statement, and a call for community, creativity, and change in a region often overlooked by the mainstream. What started as a local gathering is now a full-scale experience with celebrity guests, media outlets, a $2,500 grand prize, and more buzz than a radio station on Friday night.

FAST Bash 2025 was the biggest one yet—more competition, more eyes, more talk. Whether you were on stage, in the crowd, or on the outside looking in, the message was clear:

East Texas has something to say!
