HOUSTON, TX — For Solange Knowles, the return to Houston isn’t just a tour stop—it’s a sacred act. Through her creative collective Saint Heron, the Grammy-winning artist has launched a soul-stirring six-night experience titled Eldorado Ballroom Houston, weaving sound, memory, and spirit into the bones of three of the city’s most historic Black spaces—Jones Hall, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the historic Eldorado Ballroom.

From gospel to experimental art, this isn’t just a concert—it’s a reclamation.

🕊️ “To be able to go there… all of those are church for me.”

—Solange Knowles

The Eldorado Ballroom, built in 1939 and recently restored, once hosted legends like B.B. King and Ella Fitzgerald. Now, it breathes again—thanks to Solange’s vision. Past editions of this series appeared at BAM and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, but she always knew the Ballroom was where it belonged.

She partnered with Performing Arts Houston and Project Row Houses to make it happen. Together, they transformed the venue into a sacred container for Black creativity.

Eldorado Ballroom Houston, taking place from June 10-20, 2025, isn’t just a show. It’s a blueprint for cultural restoration. In a world where Black art is often seen as trend, Solange reminds us that it is tradition. It’s lineage. It’s living proof.

She’s not just performing—she’s preserving.

As Saint Heron continues its mission, Solange is quietly becoming one of the most visionary curators of our generation. She isn’t asking permission to innovate—she’s making room for the divine.

When Solange returns home, she brings the ancestors with her.
