The Man In The Mirror — Finesse2Tymes Looking Forward
Finesse2Tymes Finds “Money & Peace” — Shifting Gears & Facing Fears
After months of headlines surrounding police encounters and online controversy, Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes is turning the page—both personally and musically. In his recent sit-down with Bosstalk 101, the rapper opened up about decision-making, personal growth, and the lessons that come when you’re determined to evolve.
Social media might paint him as a troublemaker, but Finesse is proving otherwise—using the very obstacles that once tested him as fuel for maturity. His latest move? A powerful collaboration with Jermaine Dupri, the legendary hitmaker behind So So Def. Together, they’ve crafted a new single titled “Money & Peace,” a soulful reflection of what every man chases once the noise fades: stability, success, and serenity.
The track, sampling the timeless Fabolous and Ne-Yo hit “Make Me Better,” already has fans buzzing. What makes it special isn’t just the beat—it’s the message. “Money & Peace” came to life after a personal conversation between Dupri and Finesse, where the rapper admitted, “All I really want now is money and peace.” That statement hit home for Dupri, who’s been vocal about bridging the gap between hip-hop’s younger generation and its OGs.
Jermaine Dupri, fresh off his Magic City project, has made it clear that his focus is on mentoring and inspiring younger artists. His work with Finesse2Tymes shows exactly that—a union of wisdom and experience. On Instagram, Finesse showed respect to Dupri, calling him “OG” and noting the realness behind their connection.
For those who’ve followed Finesse’s journey—from viral fame to personal trials—this collaboration is deeper than music. It’s a statement that sometimes, you’ve got to change lanes to find peace. And as his sit-down with E CEO on Bosstalk 101 revealed, that’s exactly what he’s doing—learning, growing, and evolving beyond the headlines.
With “Money & Peace” on the horizon, one thing is certain: Finesse2Tymes isn’t running from his past—he’s rewriting it, one beat at a time.
